What EmoCare is
EmoCare is a free conversational AI built to offer a non-judgmental space for emotional reflection. It's designed to listen, gently prompt, and offer general well-being suggestions. It is not:
A licensed therapist or counselor
A medical diagnostic tool
An emergency or crisis service
A substitute for professional mental health care
Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old to use EmoCare. By using it, you confirm you meet this age requirement.
How to use it well
Be honest with what you share — the AI responds based on what you tell it.
Don't share other people's private information (names, contact details, etc.) without their consent.
Don't share sensitive identifiers like passwords, payment details, or government IDs.
Don't use EmoCare to harm yourself or others, or to attempt to manipulate the AI into producing harmful content.
Treat the AI with the same basic respect you'd want from it.
What you can't do
Scrape, mirror, or redistribute EmoCare's content or interface without permission.
Use the service for spam, harassment, illegal activity, or to impersonate someone else.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, attack, or overload the service.
Resell EmoCare or build a competing service using its outputs.
AI limitations
EmoCare's responses are generated by a language model. They can be:
Inaccurate — the AI may say things that are factually wrong.
Generic — it does not know your specific situation.
Inconsistent — different sessions may yield different answers.
Always cross-check anything that matters with a qualified professional.

EmoCare cannot dispatch help, contact authorities on your behalf, or replace these services.
Donations
Donations are voluntary and processed by Ko-fi. EmoCare does not handle payment information directly. Donations support running costs and are not refundable.
Disclaimer of warranties
EmoCare is provided "as is" without any warranty — express or implied — of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or availability. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EmoCare and its operator are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to emotional distress, loss of data, or reliance on AI-generated advice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
